Look deep into nature, and then you will understand everything better.
bonamanzi game reserve
The word bonamanzi means look at the water, however what it resembles is a diverse topographical paradise. This 4000 hectare private Game Reserve lies in the heart of Zululand on the false bay coast. It is a big 4 reserve meaning that we house pretty much every walking critter except Lion. The introduction of Cheetah and Black Rhino are nearing success. Our herds of Elephant, Buffalo, White Rhino, Giraffe, Wildebeest, Zebra and other various kinds of antelope and birds are well accustomed to our guests, and so value your support with open hearts.
Bonamanzi is considered a natural history site so we encapsulate this humble abode with pride. Three eco systems exist in a very dynamic landscape which includes wetlands, savannah and sand forests, otherwise known as the Jungle. The humans who harbour these wonderful critters offer a variety of ways to view them. You can talk a walk on your own or with a guide. You can scratch your own car leaving a Bonamanzi imprint, or enjoy the comforts of a game viewer. You can also ride on the backs of vultures as they soar at high altitudes over the African landscapes. That last option is not yet available, it is a pending work in progress.
Bonamanzi offer an array of accommodation facilities to best suit your budget and for the nature enthusiasts, we have camping both off the grid and those with fairly domesticated comforts.
